The February issue of T.H.E. Journal featured “Remote Control ” dealing with school districts catching on to Software as a Service (SaaS) as a means for managing essential operational activities. William S. Hart Union High School District and Digital Schools of California were featured in the article. Sue Guthrie, Hart’s CFO, discussed positive and negative reporting and how the Digital Schools application has improved efficiency and accurate fund accounting. Sarah Beyne, Digital Schools CEO, explained the ‘services’ features including the ability for the application to be configured to the specific rules of a district.
