DS Reports employs a distinctive filter enabling Digital Schools of California clients to ‘build their own” reports and to filter all pre-formatted reports (available through the Digital Schools Suite) by any field in the database while saving results into excel, word or PDF files. The filter responds to specific district requests to have a unique capability enabling them to fulfill increasingly greater reporting requirements. DS Reports is the most flexible reporting module in the market. DS Retro Pay integrates with the Suite to provide automated calculation and generation of payroll adjustments associated with retroactive salary changes. The RetroPay functionality greatly reduces the time and effort involved in completing retroactive changes to employee compensation due to union negotiations, employee professional growth, and any other event that requires compensation changes for past payrolls. DS RetroPay eliminates nearly all manual calculations associated with these changes. DS Access provides District employees the real time ability to access their specific information. The information available is configured to the specifications of District management and can include emergency contact, vacation and leave time, deductions, sick time and more. This functionality reduces costs associated with employee requests for information as well as strengthening employee relations. DS Applicant Powered by AppliTrack™ is brought to the market in connection with Illinois-based General ASP, Inc. DS Applicant is a "full service" package handling posting of positions, posting and managing the application (allows authorized users to access, search and sort the applications they are cleared to see from any computer that has an Internet connection) and warehousing of the completed applications. The software also managed customized applications for all positions. Interfaced with the DS Suite, the District is able to measure and manage resources from the point of entry, through hire, through the on-going working relationship. DS Bridge: Populate the County payroll and financial systems with the data from Digital Schools Suite. Development was done in a manner to maintain all payroll integrity. This is not a shrink wrapped application. It requires an assessment of respective District/County payroll rules and requirements. (Separately Priced Component – the DS Suite must be fully implemented and in full use for at least two (2) full pay cycles before the Bridge functionality can be used). iStream (DS Deposit) (powered by iStream Imaging®) is a product to assist districts in enhancing productivity and controlling the financial transaction process. The iStream Imaging provides secure connectivity to major check clearing channels. The core strategy of iStream Imaging is to minimize the costs of check handling while maximizing productivity. Benefits to the education sector include the ability to deposit on demand or even make multiple deposits a day with no need to visit the depository institution. This enables the district to extend the deposit timeframe, increase funds availability, and avoid missed deposit deadlines. There's no need for more than one banking institution to deposit checks. iStream Deposit allows for checks to be deposited into one account with any bank of your choice. The iStream Deposit reporting system assists in providing information that can enhance business practices and cash flow management and allows the user to simply query through past checks online.
